Utility Information

Any party that wishes for the City of Elmendorf to dispose of their brush must first bring it to City Hall for approval by a Public Works employee. If inside the city limits, the price is $5.00 , and outside the city limits , the price is $25.00 . Do not mix brush with leaves or garbage of any kind.

Concerns and Questions

The Director of Public Works is Steve Estrada along with Shawn Cooper and David Battiest serve the City of Elmendorf and it's citizens to ensure they receive the greatest care. The Public Works Department prides itself with attention to detail and ensuring all concerns and questions are properly addressed in a timely manner. Their responsibilities include maintaining the streets and roads inside the city limits, addressing water related concerns, keeping the scenery pristine , and assisting the public with animal control.

The Elmendorf Public Works Department is located at 8304 FM 327 and is composed of the Water, Streets, Park, and Animal Control departments. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (except holidays).​

The goal of the public works staff is to keep streets and right of ways cleared of obstruction. Grass cut in the right of ways to provide adequate line of site for motorists. Potholes repaired and drainage ditches maintained.
