Public Works

Public Works and staff serve the Elmendorf citizens and ensure they receive the greatest care. The Public Works Department prides itself with attention to detail and ensuring all concerns and questions are properly addressed in a timely manner.

Their responsibilities include maintaining the streets and roads inside the city limits, addressing water related concerns, keeping the scenery pristine, and assisting the public with animal control. ​The goal of the public works staff is to keep streets and right of ways cleared of obstruction. Grass cut in the right of ways to provide adequate line of site for motorists. Potholes repaired and drainage ditches maintained.
